An ebook is a tool for showcasing your expertise on a given subject while also providing something of value for your clients or customers.
Research from a variety of sources makes for the best finished product. With a background in library science, I know how to find credible sources–like news articles, academic journals, documentary films, photos, and print materials–and verify facts and statistics.
Beyond research, the book itself needs to be structured well, using a standard chapter and subsection structure with a table of contents and full list of citations. To make the most of the electronic format, links are another element that can be used, as needed.
My Ebook Writing
I love researching. I am well versed in Google Scholar, online databases and other library resources, and government sources like archives, statistics, and census data. I also know how to find relevant print or video materials.
In addition to research on a topic, I can also interview you, the business owner, to get additonal material for an ebook.
Once I have the research in order, I will create an outline and run it by you before I get to the writing. I can also send the first few pages for review to ensure you are happy with the tone and content before I continue.
